UFit legal
Photo and AI Notice
Effective 5 October 2026
1. What you are choosing
Submit your own ordinarily clothed image, or a garment-only reference you have permission to use. Do not upload photos of children or other people, intimate content or identity documents.
A photo operation sends the selected image from your device to UFit's backend and the AI providers disclosed before submission. It is not entirely on-device processing. You can decline a personal-photo feature. Style — choosing an occasion and letting UFit suggest an outfit from your profile measurements — works without ever submitting a photo. Today's daily pick, Wardrobe and Try-on all need photos: Today requires a completed Analyze Me profile before it will generate a look, and Wardrobe and Try-on need photos of your clothes or yourself. Paying for a subscription does not itself authorise personal-photo processing.
2. Each image has a different lifecycle
| Feature | Processing | What remains in UFit |
|---|---|---|
| Account profile picture | Receives and displays your chosen picture | The picture can be stored with your account until replaced/deleted; it is not the same as a transient analysis input |
| Analyze Me | Sends photos and relevant profile details to AI; produces a written description and styling guidance | The written profile remains in your account; no ordinary library copy of the input photo is intentionally saved |
| Wardrobe scan | Detects garments in a scene and creates individual crops | Crops and descriptions remain in your wardrobe; a crop can include a face, body part or background if it was in the source photo |
| Wardrobe product shot | Uses a selected garment image to generate a cleaner illustration | The generated image replaces the stored wardrobe image; up to 30 pieces a month are redrawn automatically, and any further redraw you request draws on the same image allowance as try-ons |
| Virtual try-on | Combines your image with garment references to generate a preview | The returned result is stored in device history, currently up to 30 records; the try-on flow does not intentionally save a result library in the backend |
| Garment-reference styling | Interprets selected clothing references together with the request | Resulting recommendations and any saved look may remain in the account |
Temporary uploads, memory, diagnostic records and provider copies are separate from account storage. Analyze Me photos are processed and then discarded, not saved as a library copy — only the resulting written analysis and, for the first photo submitted, your profile picture are kept. Wardrobe crops and redrawn product shots are stored in your account's image storage until you remove them or delete your account. Try-on results are not stored on our servers at all; they stay only on your device. Our AI providers process images only to produce your results and are not permitted by us to use them for any other purpose; their own transient retention is governed by their policies. No statement here guarantees that an image is immediately erased from every system after generation.
3. What Analyze Me infers
Analyze Me asks the AI for qualitative body shape, face shape, skin tone, undertone, visual contrast, hair, beard and styling advice, plus colour explanations, fit and proportion suggestions, necklines, patterns and fabrics, grooming and an outfit formula. Those descriptions are estimates and can be wrong. We ask the model not to give numerical measurements, but it may not always comply.
UFit does not use the analysis to recognise you across accounts, identify a stranger, authenticate a person or compare faces with an identity database. We do not ask this feature to diagnose health or determine ethnicity, religion or other protected status.
We use the resulting profile for clothing advice until you replace it or request deletion. Analyze Me results are replaced when you run the analysis again and are removed when you delete your account. To have the profile removed at any other time, contact support@ufit-ai.us.
4. Provider disclosure
Photo and styling requests go to OpenRouter, which routes them to third-party AI language and image-generation providers (primarily Google Gemini models) to produce your looks, Analyze Me results, wardrobe redraws and try-on images; we may also route requests to Anthropic (Claude) as an alternative provider. The other services behind the app are a weather data provider (coarse location only), Firebase Authentication (Google) for sign-in, RevenueCat for purchases and subscription management, Serper (Google Shopping search) for product results, and Cloudflare R2 for image storage. The app is hosted on Render, in Oregon, United States. Processing takes place in the United States (hosting on Render in Oregon, and our AI, search and payment providers) and Cloudflare's global network for image storage.
We never use your photos, measurements or other personal data to train our AI models, and we do not permit our AI providers to use them for training. Your data is sent to our AI providers only to produce your analysis, looks or try-on images, under agreements that prohibit training on it. Providers may hold an image transiently for safety, logging and diagnostics under their own policies, and may apply their own deletion exceptions. If the processing chain materially changes, we update the notice and seek new consent where required before sending content through the new arrangement.
5. Your choices and rights
Before submission, read the feature-specific notice and make the required affirmative choice. Granting camera/library access only lets the app select an image; it is not a broad waiver of privacy rights. Selecting a different file or leaving the screen before submission should not initiate processing.
You can stop future submissions, revoke device permission and withdraw optional consent in the app — Profile → Delete account removes everything, and wardrobe items and bookmarks can be removed individually — or by emailing support@ufit-ai.us. Ask us to correct or delete an inaccurate profile. Withdrawal does not undo earlier lawful processing or automatically erase copies exported to your gallery, device backup or another recipient.
A valid account-deletion request includes stored profile/wardrobe images and analysis, subject to the exceptions in the Privacy Policy. Cancellation of an app-store subscription is a separate step.
6. Reading results safely
The images are AI-generated visualisations, not photographs of a completed fitting. They may alter face/body appearance, dimensions, colour, design, fabric, opacity, accessories or logos. They do not establish real-world size, safety or the authenticity of a product. Consult retailer descriptions and measurements before purchase.
You may save personal results subject to your rights and the Terms. Do not misrepresent a synthetic image as a real event, endorsement or evidence. Report a harmful or sexualised result to support@ufit-ai.us using a description or request reference; do not repost harmful content merely to demonstrate the problem.
7. No bundled promotional release
Using these features does not give UFit permission to use your likeness in advertising or sell your personal photos. A testimonial or marketing-image release would be a separate, voluntary agreement identifying the image, channels, duration and withdrawal limits. No such release is bundled into this notice.
